Paint booth: product details

Sanding & Buffing: Encore robotic sanding and buffing systems utilize the Encore multi-headed tool as well as off the shelf sanding equipment to provide robotic sanding and/or buffing to the full exterior surface of vehicles as well as vehicle components/parts: The Encore system integrates automatic paper changers to remove, replace and validate paper changes. Dust removal systems can also be integrated to remove residual material left behind the sanding process. Encore systems offer automatic tool change capabilities to provide additional flexibility for the sanding process. When combined with defect detection the entire process of seek and finesse can be totally automated.

TKS can offer both automated and manual sealer solutions. Turnkey automated solutions include robots, vision systems, vehicle model ID, material supply systems, and applicators in addition to the standard spray booths with downdraft HVAC. TKS is a General Contractor for building industrial manufacturing plants, offering turn-key services including project management, construction site supervision, oversight of skilled trades and subcontractors, quality assurance, start-up, commissioning, and spray trials.

From High-pressure water sprays to De-greasing to Surface Conditioner and Phosphate, and now, Metal Oxide Pretreatment for Aluminum bodies, TKS offers up to 10 different process steps to configure for your application. TKS offers design, fabrication, and installation of industrial tanks for electro-coat and UF rinses. Our unique lineup includes the iron removal system (Flood Spray), high-performance washing system (Parallel Separator), and counter-flow circulation tank in the degrease process, and high-pressure spray water washing processes. I-LAS (Impact Blast Washer System) is our high-performance water washing system which efficiently remove iron powder from body surfaces with minimal water and pressure. TKS can design heated flash off tunnels for your paint process, using a heater box to provide hot air blow (HAB) to allow for the waterborne paint to set prior to the next coat of paint. Typically followed by a short cooling tunnel with cold air blow (CAB) to return the vehicle to near room temperature before the next layer of paint is applied.

TKS designs and builds several industrial ovens for paint drying and paint cure, including: ED oven, Sealer oven, Primer oven, and Topcoat (TC) Oven. These industrial ovens can operate for 30+ years with typical oven burner and fan maintenance. The oven is typically preceded by a setting tunnel to allow the solvent-borne clear coat a few minutes to flash in a controlled room temperature environment prior to entering the oven’s first heat-up zone where the water within the waterborne paint begins to flash off.
