High quality ACR Stock OR ACR folding stock online provider today? 180-Alpha Chassis (Generation II Chassis) Savage shooters, we listened! When we couldn’t fit the Savage into the X-ray or Whiskey-3 Chassis, we went back to the drawing board and came up with a unique Savage Chassis design that fits all of our design criteria. Keeping with the theme of lightweight and ergonomic, the 180-Alpha, at 3.5lbs, is one of the very few chassis under 4lbs (one other being our X-ray). Despite the low weight, it keeps all the important ergonomic features as well as mounting options for slings, night vision mounts, and other accessories. Like all of our chassis, it accepts AICS magazines (not included) right out of the box with no bottom metal purchase needed, and it has the tried and true V-bedding system cut into the aluminum backbone.
A bag rider will typically increase the capabilities of your buttstock and rifle chassis overall. Depending on what style you choose, bag riders can help balance heavy barrels or simply make it more convenient for rear bag use. Our barrier stops are meant to assist in shooting behind a barrier. These devices can be positioned in a variety of ways including a convex side and a less convex side for optimal placement. The Angled Bag Rider fits most KRG back ends and provides a long, angled surface for optimum rear bag use. Fits: W-3 Gen 4 and newer, all X-ray, all 180 series, all Habu chassis. Restrictions: Not compatible with Bravo Chassis. Find even more information at Remington 700 Chassis.
The Tikka inlet accepts T3, T3x, and CTR versions, however slight mods may be required on the trigger-guard for the T3 TAC A1 to function properly. Tikka rifles accept AICS pattern mags with the exception of the Magpul AICS polymer mags. All of our chassis take AICS magazines with nothing extra needed, the magazine is not included. Remington 700 long action chassis take 3.850″ (CIP) length AICS pattern magazines or 3.715″ AICS mags with included spacer. Remington 700 long action chassis come standard with a Whiskey-3 style Forend. Actions with trigger hangers will not work without mods to the chassis, hanger, or both. KRG was established conceptually in 2005 by a group of then active duty Army Special Forces soldiers. Being both professional and sport shooters, their passion led them to a deep understanding of the strong and weak points in the fielded equipment. They were not satisfied with the small arms or accoutrements available. Many products were only barely acceptable and, although some were very good, there was clearly a need for evolutionary enhancements as well as completely new products.
