Glamour of ION perfume for incredible gifts from Singapore holidays? After an $118 million refurb and rebranding job, the Singapore History Museum reopened as the National Museum of Singapore: the largest museum on the island. There are two main galleries: the Singapore History Gallery, which traces the history of Singapore from its beginnings in the fourteenth century to the present day and the Singapore Living Galleries, which focus on four lifestyle themes – food, fashion, film and photography. It’s worth a visit just for the building, an imposing neoclassical structure, complemented by modern glass additions. Shoehorning art and science into the same room and doing justice to both was always going to be a big risk. But by and large, the ArtScience Museum succeeds. Future World: Where Art Meets Science is a collaboration with Japanese art collective teamLab and features interactive experiences that are also perfect Instagram fodder.
Receiving perfume lets her try out new scents. Perfume is a luxury that often comes last on a list of needed beauty products. When you give perfume as a gift, you give her the freedom to branch out and try something new. Many popular fragrances come in perfume gift sets that include body lotion, shower gel and portable roll-on scents for a discount. They can also include commemorative boxes or tote bags. For a gift that will pamper her with all the essentials, look for one of these all-inclusive sets.
Budget-friendly: As compared to other options of gifts available in perfume range, miniature ones are quite affordable. The gift pack looks expensive with its high-quality plastic box and carry case, but it is very budget friendly. You can get them in bulk without going overboard with your costing. Apart from all these benefits, there are a couple more aspects that make miniature fragrances best corporate gifts. We use plants in so many ways for health. Most of those that come to mind are internal: teas, syrups, tinctures and capsules. While aromatherapy has become a popular health and wellness buzzword, we tend to think this healing only comes with the high cost of a tiny bottle of essential oil—not so! Long before we had the technology to distill the fragrant plant particles into liquid form, people were still able to seek wellness through aromatherapy. Walking through your flower garden in the morning, just as the first rays of sun warm its colorful petals, will transport and lift your mood. This is perhaps the first aromatherapy experience that captured humanity’s imagination.
IONs are believed to produce biochemical reactions that increase levels of serotonin, a happy hormone. This alleviates depression, relieves stress, and boosts our energy. Aromatherapy works the same way. Aromas are pleasant smelling volatile chemical or IONic vapors exuded by various plant. We used variety of brilliant Orchid notes including Vanda Miss Joaquim to create ION scent, some of which are native to Singapore. Read even more information at ION®.
The Singapore Flyer is the world’s largest observation wheel. A one-of-a-kind experience and built over a 3-story terminal building, the Flyer is 150 metres in diameter, 165 metres high, and travels at 0.21m per second (it is some 30 metres taller than the famous London Eye!). With breathtaking panoramic views that are so radically different during the day and at night, it’s hard to choose the best time to take a ride. Passengers will get to see such city sights as the Singapore River, Raffles Place, Marina Bay, Empress Place and the Padang.
The generic name, ‘children of the air’, is derived from Greek aer (air) and eides (resembling), referring to its epiphytic nature and the way such orchids are cultivated. A. crispa is a large, tough, robust epiphyte. Young leaves are typically covered with purple spots. Inflorescence is up to 35 cm long, drooping, branching, loosely many-flowered. Ear-drops prepared by boiling the pulverised plant in neem oil, are instilled 2–3 drops at a time into the ear every night to treat earache in the Western Ghats. A. crispa contains aeridin, a bactericidal phenanthropyran. The contribution of aeridin to the management of earache is undetermined, but it works as a bactericide.
Get out of the city and head west to the Chinese and Japanese Gardens. During the weekend, people play cricket in one of the park’s open spaces. Tucked into one area of the Chinese Gardens is the Live Turtle & Tortoise Museum, which showcases the world’s largest collection of turtle and tortoise items. Singapore’s most recognisable garden, Gardens by the Bay is known for its extraordinary landscape, namely the SuperTree Grove featuring 18 vertical gardens that reach a height of 16 stories! Other attractions include the two conservatory domes, the OCBC Skywalk and Marina Barrage. Read more information on here.
